To be a Veterinary Nurse takes hard work and dedication over several years. Marshlands are also a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice.
Nursing Manager Sam Biggs is our Training Assessor. She spends one-to-one time with the Trainee Veterinary Nurses each week, covering practical work and coursework. She also oversees all work carried out by the nurses in practice.
Marshlands are linked to the College of Animal Welfare – Huntingdon which provides an outside assessor to ensure that the quality of training provided is maintained. The Trainee VNs also spend one day a week at the college.
